WE ARE UNIQUE: Funkology has 3 amazing vocalists which allows us to play anything and make it sound good! We also feature a high energy, always moving horn line that keeps the crowd entertained.... and an experienced rhythm section that locks everything in!
WE ARE FAMILY: We have been together 16 years so we have "been there, done that" TOGETHER! We aren't a group of musicians thrown together for the evening. We don't do 45 minute sets...we do 90 minute sets! When you hire Funkology, you're hiring a group of professional musicians who have been playing together for a long time... and it shows! We keep the music moving and the crowd dancing and singing. You can tell we are enjoying ourselves and it shows in our performance!
PERSONAL TOUCH: From beginning to end, we work with you on the details to create a customized performance for your event. You can help design the setlist and choose our color for the evening. We understand and are honored that you chose us to be a part of your special event and we will do everything we can to make sure we live up to our advertising. We are more than happy to sit down with you as many times as you need to ensure all the details are worked out.
VERSATILE: Don't let our name fool you! From Disco to Motown, from R&B to Rock, from the '60's to today we do it all! We have spent hours researching our songs to choose just the right mix of tunes from each genre and we continue to add new songs to our song list. Our set list has something for everyone - we have over 175 songs to choose from and we allow you to choose the songs you definitely want played and the songs you do not want played. Also, if a song is requested that we just can't play, we will play it over our sound system for you.
PRICING: Our prices are extremely reasonable and there are NO upcharges or add ons! Our price includes an 8-10 piece band, us handling all emcee work, providing music over the PA for dinner and cocktail hours, learning your first dance song (or another song of your choosing) and a sound engineer on site at all times. How do we keep our pricing so low? Easy... we book ourselves, so there are no "booking fees" or agencies involved. You are only paying for professional musicians to entertain you and your guests... COCKTAIL / DINNER MUSIC: Our saxophone player and/or keyboardist can play during cocktail/dinner if you'd like or we can provide music over our PA system that you request.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: We can do this for you, too! We will go over every aspect of the evening with you and make sure your special event runs smoothly.
WEDDING SONGS: We will learn 1 song just for you at no extra cost!
SOUND SYSTEM & LIGHTING: We have a top of the line sound system with stage and party lighting and we always have a sound technician with us who makes us sound great and look good!
OUR LOOK: Funkology band members are always dressed to kill! We wear all black with a vest and a colored tie. The singers outfits coordinate with the tie color. Who chooses our ties? YOU DO! We have 10 colors to choose from.
WHERE WE GO: We will travel anywhere in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina and Summit counties at no additional cost. If your event is outside those 4 counties, please contact us for rate information.
